All of our Hydronic Heating Specialists that work on your project are our employees – we don’t use subcontractors. All of our professionally trained installers are employed by us. Why? Subcontractors are paid on a per panel basis and don’t take the required amount of time that is sometimes needed. Our installers arrive on time, take the time to make sure that your entire hydronic heating system is fitted perfectly and leave the site in a clean and tidy manner.

Most of our competitors (if not all) find when their phone is ringing off the hook and potential clients want their projects done now, the temptation is to reach out to just about anyone who’s willing to help you – that means taking on a subcontractor. We have found that using subcontractors in this industry costs you later–both in dollars lost and a smear on your company’s reputation. This is how a lot of hydronic heating companies are able to provide an installation within days or a week! We don’t use subcontractors which means through most of the year we have a three week lead time.

So don’t be afraid to ask if the company quoting you on a hydronic heating system uses employees or subcontractors. If they are using subcontractors ask who is providing the panels and materials? Quite often you’ll find it is the subcontractor and they love to cut corners and make as much profit as possible. There is no risk for a subcontractor using second rate materials, because if you have a problem with your hydronic heating system – you will call the company to fix it, not the subcontractor. Then the company calls the subcontractor who is often too busy to fix up his second rate work, then they just turns off their mobile phone and all contact with them is lost! There are many horror stories around of systems installed by subcontractors – do your homework before signing on the dotted line!
