yes the guys turned up as promised and fixed the problem – no sign of any leak . Ran the hydronic heating for a few minutes this morning to take the chill off the house and found it raised the temp a couple of degrees in no time at all, so it didn’t get much of a workout. Its going to take a little getting used to as we tend to associate heating with noise, and you can only hear the boiler when outside. I had jumped on the rubbish so it was very compacted and Luke had no problem fitting it in. Will give you a better assessment of the system once we get a genuine cold spell !
